As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 221 people, 100 households, and 60 families residing in the town. The population density was 863.1 people per square mile (328.2/km2). There were 113 housing units at an average density of 441.3 per square mile (167.8/km2). The racial makeup of the town was 96.38% White, 0.90% Asian, and 2.71% from two or more races.

There were 100 households out of which 27.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 49.0% were married couples living together, 10.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 40.0% were non-families. 37.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 16.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
